Valerie Weaver brings more than 25 years of legal experience to her practice and has developed a multifaceted role within the Brevard County family law court system. She is a Collaborative Attorney, Litigation Attorney, Certified Family Law Mediator, and Guardian Ad Litem, providing her with a uniquely comprehensive perspective on family law matters and the diverse approaches available to resolve them.
Her firm provides legal representation and services in the areas of Family Law, Adoption, Domestic Violence Injunctions, Appellate Family Law, Estate Planning, and Criminal Law. Ms. Weaver has extensive experience handling complex financial matters and high-conflict child custody disputes, as well as working with and effectively presenting the testimony of expert witnesses in litigation.
In cases where she is appointed by the Court to provide Guardian Ad Litem services, Ms. Weaver conducts child custody investigations, evaluates the circumstances and needs of the children involved, and prepares detailed written reports for the court, including recommendations concerning the children’s best interests and appropriate timesharing and parental responsibility arrangements.
Her breadth of experience across litigation, mediation, collaborative law, and court-appointed child advocacy enables Ms. Weaver to approach each matter with a sophisticated understanding of both the legal and human dynamics involved in family law disputes.
