Empowering individuals to resolve their own disputes is an important goal for Kim Torres. As a conflict resolution professional, she has mediated over 2000 cases, ranging from multi-party complex disputes to highly emotional matters with pro se parties. Kim focuses her practice on working with parties to create their own resolution for matters important to them. Through mediation services or as legal counsel for Collaborative Family cases, Kim utilizes her extensive experience to find a resolution that works for each particular family. Kim is honored to be Chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section of the Florida Bar (2019-20) and also serves as an original Eldercaring Coordinator in a nationally acclaimed pilot program. She has worked exclusively as a Supreme Court Certified Mediator with Torres Mediation since 2000 and joined the Florida Academy of Collaborative Professionals in 2019.
