Her goal, by providing comprehensive divorce related services in addition to financial planning, is to reduce litigation and focus on mediation while providing a financial strategy that maintains future financial security. Services include planning for a financially equitable division of assets and determining marital versus non-marital property, assisting in the preparation of drafting qualified domestic relations orders (QDROS) and Court Orders for qualified accounts and IRAs, valuing pensions, and considering the tax issues surrounding the division of assets. Ms. Gallo evaluates the division of assets by preparing different settlement options for both parties and their attorneys to consider. The analysis looks at income verses expenses, cash flow, retirement assets, real estate and net worth in the short, mid and long term.
